Whats the best software for making DVDs?

Hey guys. I want to make some DVDs but I have to divide 2 hour long movie into three parts (DVDs). All of my DVDs are 120 min. long and 4.7 GB memory. I used some software called Sonic not sure what version. What would be a good software? It doesn't matter if I have to buy. Thanks.
