Whats the best sounding motorcycle exhaust system?

I was leanin towards tow brothers, was advised to get yoshimura's, what are your opinions, i want somethin that will produce a menacing rumble at idle and low revs, and a long sinister wail at high speed.

My bike has Jardine pipes and sounds pretty good.

Make sure with any changes to your pipes that you re-jet the carburetors or re-map the fuel injection or you will lose performance and fuel economy instead of improving on it.

"Best" is purely subjective.  What is pleasing to one person is loud and/or obnoxious to someone else.

Only you can determine what sounds best on your bike.

AKRAPOVIC, And if u have an italianbike termignoni is pretty good too, yoshimura's allright but doesn't have as nice of an idle sound as akrapovic. Your best bet is probably with akrapovic.

My cousin's 2000 ZX-6R had an Akropovic slip-on and it didn't sound all that great really although I've heard nice sounding ones on other models. To answer your question...it depends on the bike not to mention it's a purely subjective thing.
