I had something on my computer install a bunch of other things on my computer, and they under "all programs" on the start up menu.
I ran AVG and it put some viruses in the vault, deleted some more and did who knows what with a couple others.
I installed a windows update after that, restarted the computer, and deleted a couple of those files that were remaining from the start up.
The computer says that a few of those files cant be deleted or windows wont run. I'm pretty sure they weren't there before so I dont know what to do.
Anyhow.
Now I'm wondering if its safe for me to do things like pay for my bills online.
What would you guys do?
Is there some great piece of software that will keep my personal things secure - stuff like passwords, account numbers etc, that I should install on this computer?
Something that I can buy at the store - last time I went to a link someone on here suggested it turned out to be malware.
