  1. a mouse.

  2. the peanut butter thing is wrong,,,,, use a piece of bacon!! ALL animals love salt and fat!!  you can also try nuts!!  like a salted peanut, even pecans work because  the critters need the proteins too!!!!  if these are properly attached to the trap the mice will have to PULL on it and snap!!  mice do not like to l**k their food,, they are nibblers and also like to carry some food home!! can't do that with peanut butter

  3. peanut butter

  4. Peanutbutter is nice because it is sticky, and doesn't stale like cheese or bread. A mouse can't just remove peanutbutter from the trap either *_*

  5. I find bacon rind the best as it is hard for the mice to remove it from the trap, some times the mice are looking for shelter and already have a food supply so you may need to set a number of traps with different bait.

  6. I've always heard that peanut butter is best but I can't catch them with it.  Bread works if you take a small piece and dampen it with just enough water to make it moist.  Form a small ball and flatten it into the trigger of the trap.  As it dries out it will be harder to remove.  I have used this method several times in the past and it works well for me.  May be that my mice don't like peanut butter?

  7. Definently penut butter but the secret is to only use a very small amount on the bottom of the trigger i mean just enough for them to smell and they can smell very well.

  8. We wad up little balls of bread and peanut butter mixed, then put them on the underside of the little plate, so they can't just steal it off the top.  They adore peanut butter, and the bread makes it harder for them to take--they can't just l**k it off.

  9. Peanut butter or a small piece of snickers bar. Cotton is also used if they are looking things to nest with.

  10. My Mom always had good luck with a piece of chocolate.  It's not as messy as peanut butter, but make sure it's not where little children can get at it.

    Good luck.

  11. Cheese____ Research many years of TOM AND JERRY

  12. Peanut butter and bacon. And try to find where they're coming in and then seal it up, otherwise you're trying to bail out the ocean with a thimble.
