  1. Go all around Costa Rica....

My favorite place is Arenal... this is like a village... they have a very nice volcano... hot spring waters; they have made like a waterpark with this hot water...awsome! There is horse back riding tours through the forest and they have the most gorgeous waterfall.... nice place to be...

Check on the site bellow, they have a photo list of great Hotels... I am from Puerto Rico...but this place is heaven.

  2. most towns and cities in costa rica has their unique. la fortuna: the arenal volcano, waterfalls, canopy... montezuma: beach, surf, rivers, waterfalls, canopy... alajuela - heredia: poas volcano, la paz waterfall garden, 10 miles away from san jose, bungee jump, bars, clubs... jaco - tamarindo beach: surf, night clubs, bars... puerto viejo, limon: Caribbean style, rasta people, beach, surf, reggae...  every town you come here is a nice place and depends on how long you stay. come and enjoy it. if you need more info, just ask'

  3. There are so many wonderful towns in Costa Rica, but it depends on how much time you have and what you care the most about seeing.  If you want to see forests and volcanoes, fly into San Jose and rent a four wheel drive vehicle or a driver and go to Monte Verde for the cloud forest, and the best canopy tour, and great nature guides and then head (drive or take a bus) onto La Fortuna to see vulcan arenal.  However, be warned that you will not be able see the volcano AT ALL if it is foggy.   If you want beaches, you should go to Montezuma and Mal Paise.  You have to take a ferry there from Puntaranus, but it well worth it.  These towns are very close together and absolutely beautiful.  In Montezuma there is an amazing waterfall that you can hike to and then swim in as it has a huge swimming area surrounding it.  You should grab the guide book The New Key to Costa Rica.  I traveled around Costa Rica for five weeks with many guide books and thsi one was by far the best.  It had great descriptions of towns and told you exacty how to get from one place to the next via bus, plane and car.
