  1. i have had a few types, and found the moultrie gamespy line to do the job.  tough to find a quality camera with the night vision flash for that price, but i rarely have a problem with the regular flash spooking game as long as there is adequate delay between pics (5-10 minutes).  you can spend a whole lot more for a camera, and generally the advantage is going to be a quicker shot when game walks by.  this will be important when you just set up on a trail, but when set up over a food source, any camera should do fine.

  2. Don't get the stealth cam- a friend bought one last year and gave it away. It just couldn't take a picture fast enough to get the deer before he walked away. But if you bait, I'm sure they would take the pictures ok. He bought a Moultrie and was totally satisfied with it.Stealth cam recently took cuddeback to court over the ads cuddeback was running stating the stealth cam was missing most of the deer that were triggering the pictures. Stealth cam lost the case and cuddeback proved in court, their advertising was in fact, the truth.

  3. I agree with the Moultrie cams advice, and don't get a stealth cam. I had one of the most expensive ones and it sucked. I ended up sending it in 4 times for repair before i asked for a refund.. But there's a website that you can go to to research the trail cams for real world results ffor their performance. You can search all the different brands and models and see which one will work the best for you. It takes a long time to read all the info on the cams, but it will point you in the right direction.
