Whats the best type of ipod i should get

i want an ipod but not sure which one to get..

iPod Shuffle, iPod Nano, iPod Classic (i dont want ipod touch)

which ones best... i want it definitely to hold over 500 songs

I have a 2GB iPod Nano, and I love it. Had it since '06 and it still works perfectly!

If you work out regularly and listen to music while doing so, get the Nano or the Shuffle.  The hard drive is solid-state rather than disc-based, meaning it doesn't have moving parts that break when you move it quickly.  I recommend the Nano, just because you can select specifically which song you want to pick.

If you don't listen to music while working out and have a large library of songs, get the Classic.  Holds up to 40,000 songs with 160GB.

You should get the ipod classic because it has video and it can hold more than 500 songs. at least i'm pretty sure. :)
