Whats the best vacatuon spot in the midwest?

I'm from Indiana and there is absolutely nothing to do here so when my family and I need something to do, we have stuff all around in neighboring states. I agree, Chicago is really fun.  So are the Dunes in Michigan/N. Indiana.  I don't know if you and your family are into this but the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is In Cleveland, Ohio.  It's pretty cool.  Mall of America? Wisconsin Dells? St. Louis? You could hit up Six Flags, King's Island or Cedar Point? Haha, I dunno! Those are my favorite places, though!

I'd recommend Door County, WI...all the towns up to the peak of 'E. Fitzgerald' is soo soo beautiful.  My fav. is Ellison bay!

   It is 'spendy', but worth the $.   WI Dells...VERY Spendy!   Otherwise, try Green Bay, WI !   Packers, Casino (if that's what you like), Sturgeon Bay & just travel from small town to small town on country roads & stop @ the restaurants/bars...they're so polite & with great / unique burgers, etc.   Any other Q's? I might, be able to answer.

if you wanna do big city stuff no town like chicago, catch a game at wrigley for sure.  if you want to do small town stuff the dells or mackinaw are your best bets.  if you wanna do camping than the U.P. of michigan is your best bet.  if you wanna do something that has shopping and is a destination that outdoor enthusiast love than go to the twin cities.  also the best beaches in all of the midwest are along lake michigan in michigan in particular ludington and traverse city area
