I already own a two foot ball pyhton which should tell you that he's still young. I have had him for a year and a few months and he is a normal morph. I have housed him in a 30 gallon aquarium and he is a very friendly tame snake and I really dont know if hes a he or she so not sure if putting another snake in with him would be smart. I am very interested in buying an albino ball as another pet best advice needed please and thank you

  1. The best way to find one is a local breeder or www.kingsnake.com. You can do it and many people have and do but I have read a lot about snakes biting each other and killing each other. Yes you can but I would strongly encourage you not do it, its just asking for trouble.

  2. Albino ball pythons go for around $1000. And if you bought your normal ball python at a pet store, it was most likely imported from Africa. If I bought a thousand dollar snake, I'm not taking any chances of it catching an illness or parasites from another snake, so I would defintely keep it alone. Snakes are solitary anyway and prefer to be alone. I currently have between 220 and 230 snakes, and I keep every single one by itself to avoid any problems.

  3. The best way to get an albino ball python without spending 1000 dollars is to buy a male and female 100% het albino pair and 1/4 of the babies should be albino, 1/2 hets and 1/4 normals. For a pair you can usually get for 300
