  1. Take the Metro Train into Penn Station.  It's the best way to go.

  2. My friend, this may be helpful.

JFK to Penn Station: 20 minutes on the LIRR from Jamaica Station, 45 minutes on the subway from Sutphin Blvd-JFK/Jamaica Station

Newark to Penn Station: 30 minutes on NJ Transit/Airtrain.

    Good luck

  3. The best, safe, and faster way is a Taxi, it will take you from JFK to Manhattan from 35 min to 50 min. the cost is $ 45 + toll + tip.

  4. We do not call Metro.

Our subway, buses systems are called Metropolitan Transportation Authority, including Long Island Railroad.

    Subways are called NYC Subway.

Port Authority of NY and NJ owns JFK Airport, Airtrain JFK, Airtrain Newark, Newark Airport.

    From JFK Airport:

    By Aitrain/LIRR/Subway

$5 Airtrain JFK connect you to A via Howard Beach train or E/J/Z via Jamaica Train. At Howard Beach and Jamaica Station, purchase $7 card (On airtrain VM, it would say, Airtrain+Subway.") $2 for subway entry.

Manhattan-bound A/E train take you into Manhattan if you meant Manhattan. J/Z also take you to Manhattan.

Also, LIRR offers service from Jamaica to Penn Station. On weekends, instead of purchasing off-peak ticket, buy $3.25 CityTicket. As long as you go in same direction one way in city zones.

If you prefer buses, public buses also connect to subways to Manhattan.

New York Airport bus cost you $15 into Manhattan.

    From Newark Airport:

Look for NJ Transit ticket vending machine and purchase $15.50 one way ticket to New York Penn Station.

Take Airtrain Newark to Newark Airport, where one way tickets cover the $5.50 fee.

Take any Northeast or North Jersey coastline trains to last stop, NY Penn Station.
