Whats the best way by train to get from paris to bologna in italy?

I live about an hour from Bologna and prefer the direct night train that leaves from the Paris Bercy station at 6:59 pm. You don't have to bother with connecting in Dijon to get the same train to Italy. You can get a berth in a 4 bunk cuchette for 60 euro and sleep through the night when the Smart price is available (1 to 60 day advance purchase).

You can take a day train, starting 07:39 hrs at Gare du Lyon ti arrive at Milan 14:50 and catch another train starting there at 15:05 to arrive at 16:52 hrs at Bologna.

Or you use a direct night connection departing 18:59 from Paris Bercy and arriving at 05:58 at Bologna.

You also can catch that train by departing at 19:25 from Gare du Lyon by TGV, arriving at Dijon at 21:07 and departing there at 21:37 to arrive at 05:58 at Bologna.
