  1. Good diet and good exercise.

    Swimming !!!

Great form of exercise to do as it is an all over body workout, and it doesn't matter if you are overweight coz the water supports you and so you won't stress out your body too much.

  2. Simple little things make a huge difference. Cut out soda and extra sugary drinks. Watch your serving sizes and get more full body exercise  I.E soccer ,swimming Most important is to remember you are still young and anything sever you do like skipping meals or crash dieting can have long term effects like stunting your growth or worse. Best of luck!

  3. Boxing Training :)

    Trust Me

  4. The answer probably lies more with exercise, rather than diet. You need to try and manage a minimum of 30 minutes of vigorous exercise 5 days a week.

  5. STOP EATING BISCUITS, CAKES, SWEETS, CHOCOLATE AND CRISPS AND GET ON 'YOUR BIKE'!!!!!

  6. Go play sport, swaps snacks like crisps and biscuits with fruit and veggies.

  7. Whoever told you to stop eating wheat is an idiot, reducing your fiber intake is GREAAAAAAAAAAAAAT way to lose weight, right?

Bottom line, Drink as much water as possible, even up to a gallon a day.

Try to eat 6 small meals a day, or 3 regular meals with a healthy snack in between to keep your metabolism running.

And the best way to burn fat is definitely skipping rope.

  8. There's too many answers to your question.  But, you can do little things every day to just be healthier.  Walk more, ride a bike, take the stairs instead of an elevator.  Just be more active in little ways.  Also, cut out sugar as much as you can.  Eat an apple or orange instead of a candy bar.  It's little stuff that can make a huge difference at your age.  If you have a family history of weight and/or health problems then I would encourage you to talk to your doctor about a program to help you.  It's so much easier to never have a weight problem than to try to lose weight.  If you don't have a doctor talk to the school nurse or coach and ask them what you can do.

  9. Exercise and healthy eating

  10. It depends on how overweight they are.

If they are morbidly obese, then they might have to take precautions not to put their heart through too much - it is usually suggestable to talk to a doctor before starting any kind of diet/workout routine.

If they are just mildly overweight, then they should be all right - start by getting a workout routine in place.  Don't necessarily join a gym, because the inconvenience of having to go somewhere can keep it from being effective.

Don't waste money on gym equipment for your house either. Almost every exercise that can be done at a gym or with home equipment can easily be reproduced without it.

Step 1) Turn off the TV, get off the couch and go for a walk/jog or ride a bicycle (actually better than jogging, because it doesn't put as much impact on the joints).

Step 2) Do some simple exercises - situps, crunches, pushups (on knees at first if necessary), jumping jacks, leg lifts, etc. - the key is doing plenty of reps, and consistency (most important of all).

Step 3) Get a good workout, but don't overdo it.  It is a waste of time to wear yourself out, and then not being able to do anything the next day because all of your muscles are too sore to move.

Step 4) Diet.  I have long held that you can actually eat whatever the h**l you want (within reason) as long as you counter it with sufficient exercise and cardio.  You can maybe practice portion control, or try to limit your intake of fatty/sugary/greasy/deep fried foods (just a good idea across the board).

Step 5) Ignore the scale.  It can sometimes be a good idea to set yourself goals, but worrying about each pound gained or lost keeps you from accomplishing much.  Instead, maybe step on it every once in a while to get an idea of where you are at - but I've always been more concerned about my body appearance than my actual weight.

I started working out at a gym about a year ago, I was over 230# (I'm 6'-3" though so it didn't show up too bad).  I currently weigh in at about 195#, but I lost considerably more than 30-35# since I've packed on some muscle while burning off fat.

I'm don't want big muscles either (they are hard to maintain) - I just want to be toned.

  11. BE ACTIVE!! join sports teams in school ... join TRACK... its one of those things where you don't have to be good to join .. everyone makes the team.. and look at it as your way of forcing you to exercise if its hard for you to do so ... they have fall and spring track or winter and spring... i forget but def. think about it..and lay off junk foods ... think of it this way... if you ever go to the grocery store with your mom ... anything purchased in the middle of the store isnt good for you ... anything around the outside ex. poultry dairy fruit nuts veggies = healthy so stay away from carb esp chips crackers certain breads/carbs FAKE BOX FOOd

  12. Healthy eating and exercise.  Make sure you do not skip meals & get plenty of sleep.  I just read something yesterday that said people who do not get at least 7 hours of sleep a night are more likely to gain weight.

  13. go  wheat  free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food after 7

p.m.  People  achieve  marvellous  results  with it. Depending on your

initial  weight,  you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If you don't

eat  wheat  then you don't eat all those sticky, fatty goey cakes, you

don't  eat  junk  food,  and  you don't eat biscuits. But your diet is

still  balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to calculate points or

to buy special meals or plans.

  14. buy skipping rope

  15. exercise.. stay off the computer and away from the video games and go outside

  16. exercise, start a new sport, run an hr daily, stay off junk food and too much sweets. stay with a healthy diet that has a lot of vegetables, fruits and grilled meat instead of fried ones. do a lot of outdoor activities and don't stay at home watching tv, playing video games or sitting on the computer too much.

    good luck!

  17. You can lose a lot of weight just by changing the way that you eat. Get the tips you need in this article.

    Smaller Amounts More Frequently

One of the easiest ways to lose weight is to eat less food but more often. The way I do this is to divide my daily calorie maximum by six. Here’s an example.

  18. Yea I agree with other answer about stay off the computer and video games, go outside walk, run, jump rope, dance, When I was 14 I got where I did not like to go outside unless I was tanning so I would shut my door and turn on my fave CD and dance in my room. I had a fine stomach you wouldn't believe the results you get just by dancing. Also do not starve your self! Be sure to eat just dont eat junk food, be sure to eat right!

  19. consuming less than you expend in calories. Make sure you don't starve and are getting proper nutrients. Exercise is one of the best ways for you to do this. Starving yourself will stunt your growth and mess with your reproductive track so don't. don't trust fad diets either it is a well known fact they NEVER work
