do some jobs and collect money. Paper route, mowing lawns, raking leaves, lawn maintenance, shovelling sidewalks,

Do odd jobs, save your money in a bank til enough to be put in stocks or fund. At the same time, start reading financial books :)

Seriously, bargain with your Mom on doing some chores that is not usual part of yours, like cleaning the windows or something like that. Try babysitting, saving your allowance.

You need not just to get money, but learn on HOW (discipline etc.) you get it.

Depends how old you are, but could you try refereeing or umpiring some sports? Some pay a little bit of money.  You could try washing cars or just compromising with your parents to give you some pocket money for doing chores around the house?
