  1. Well this is weird because I moved from Saskatoon to Toronto a few years ago, which is uncommon to say the least. I have done the drive through the states and the drive on the trans Canada. The flight is only 4 hours so if you dont like to drive, FLY! If you like  to drive and road trips, the drive can be great! If you go through the states you will get to drive through Chicago which is great to see, stop and take a walk downtown, amazing city, great food! Driving through Canada is what I consider the scenic route, Once you get past Thunder Bay it can be a very pretty drive in the summer. Lots of spots to stop and check out the views and discover how HUGE this country is! Of course this way is a little bit longer, and when your in a car 30 some hours, a couple more hours is ALOT, but all in all worth doing once in your life. Now about safety, Dont worry about it. Toronto is alot safer than Saskatoon and Regina and I dont speak strictly from statistics, I speak from personal experience. I feel so much safer walking around downtown Toronto than most cities in Canada. The only thing I recommend is when a homeless person asks you for money, say " sry man I dont have any change on me". Please dont be scared of the big city. I know myself coming from sask and growing up there it can be intimidating at first and a little bit of a culture shock, but once you get the vibe of T.O, you will love it! Its an amazing city. If you need anymore help just repost. Have fun!

  4. It will be easier to answer your question if we know where you're coming from.

You didn't specify where in Saskatchewan you're coming from. That can determine what transportation you can take. If I were in your situation I personally would fly because it would be faster and my intent is to get to Toronto, not to have a travel experience. If it were the latter, I might take the VIA Rail train http://www.viarail.ca/en_index.html. If I was looking for the cheapest way to get here and didn't care about anything else, I'd probably opt for a coach bus to the Toronto Coach Terminal http://torontocoachterminal.com/home.htm... I would definitely not drive, especially alone, because the long hours can wear you out, you may have to stay somewhere for the night, and if something goes wrong on the road, you're on your own. As for the safest mode of transportation, it depends on how you define safety. Modes of transportation where you are not operating the vehicle might be best.

  5. I'd fly. As long as you are flexible on the actual date of travel a flight will be the same price or cheaper then any other option.

It is the fastest and safest.

  6. You'll be out ot skool?  Stay in Saskatchewan and learn to spell before moving in with your bf in Toronto.
