  1. None !!!

although you could start bulling people inciting riots or be an over powering Bouncer and you'll have plenty of people to test you ( not recommended )

Best solution join a good martial arts club and learn in safety :)***

  2. The only way to learn how to fight is to fight.

I agree with what others have said, don't fight in the street. You'll either end up dead or in jail.

If you are seriously wanting to learn how to fight, join a gym that does MMA, jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai, Jeet Kune do, Krav Maga or Kajukenbo.

Those would be good choices as far as styles that will prepare you for a real fight.

  3. It depends if you are doing this for a street fight, then just learn how to take people down to the ground and hit them in the face, you also want to know how to knee and elbow somebody when standing up, and when you take someone down you also want to know how to use submission holds to either choke them or break their arms/leg.

In general the best way to learn to fight effectlivley is to learn how to wrestle/learn how to strike (muay thai)/and learn brazilioan jui jitsu. Good luck

  4. Short period of time - maybe find a seminar or something.  Krav is great but you won't be sparring on the first day.  muay thai  would be another to check out or boxing/kickboxing.

  5. Serve a little time in prison.

  6. I'm not sure of exact spelling here....but I've seen some pretty impressive demonstrations of a simple, but very effective martial arts form of fighting called Krav Manga.

Krav Manga's origins, again am not sure, come from Israel and is taught in the desert heat.  It's basically taking what you have available.....and all out fight your way out of a jam--making every strike count.  Krav Manga is not for the faint of heart; you got to have NO moral objections of seriously harming or even killing your opponent--who surely wants you dead.

And Krav Manga is for the braveheart who faces several opponents...and done right....actually bears a chance at defeating them and/or running out of harm's way; it's the purest form of hand to hand combat known.

Krav Manga, however, is taught ONLY to active duty special forces soldiers of Israel and the country's allies (which inculdes the U.S. Special Forces divisions); teaching outsiders is forbidden....and I'm told THAT policy IS enforced.

  7. Take a lesson from the US Military training programs:

If you want to get better at X, do X.

So if you want to get better at fighting, fight. This doesn't mean that you have to go full out, beating the snot out of people. Find a friend and fight at about 60%. 60% is just enough.

Now, on top of this, take a lesson from chess:

To become smarter, you must play a smarter opponent.

That said, if you're fighting against someone less skilled than you, you're not going to learn anything. Instead, train with someone who fights better than you and learn what you can from them.

This won't make you a good fighter. But you'll definitely learn about fighting.

  8. with this mentality, it sounds like you do not want to learn Martial arts...It seems like you want to fight someone. Listen MA is a great road, fighting isn't..There will always be someone stronger faster and meaner than you. Try Martial arts for the long run, it is better

  9. just start insulting people at random on the street, then it will be a matter of survival....LOL

look for a self defense program called" Krav Maga" it's taught to the Israeli secret service. do a web search to see if it is available in your area.

  10. Getting your a** kicked is the best way to learn how to fight in a short period of time.

You don't learn to fight by pretending to fight, you learn to fight by actually fighting.  So go out and fight.  Fighting in a martial arts tournament is more ethical (and safer) than picking a street fight, and is plenty scary enough to make you face your fear and find your courage.

You learn faster if your goal is to learn, rather than to win.

Being unafraid is the biggest part of learning how to fight, regardless of  technique or style.  So getting your butt kicked and surviving it is the fastest way to become a good fighter.

  11. As has been mentioned before the best way to learn to fight is simply to practise fighting, obviously fighting in the street is dangerous and can land you in jail so you must find a better option. Try sparring with friends with boxing gloves on, or if you want to invest a little get a lot of protecive gear and fight a few full contact fights.

Physical condition will also make you a better fighter, running, weights, pushups, situps etc will give you more stamina, more power and enalbe you to take a shot without too much damage.

If you would like to learn to fight in a class then look for a class where they actually fight , MMA , boxing and judo are all excellent although need to be adapted for the street.  Classes where they do not spar or at least hit pads should be avoided.

If you want to be able to hit hard and fast quickly try taking a few private lessons from a boxing coach. A solid right hand can end many fights with one punch. Of course it is important to learn some grappling as well so judo jujitsu or wrestling should help with that.

Lastly remember that there are very few times when fighting is a sensible solution to a problem , you can walk away , call the cops, avoid places where fights tend to happen etc. If you lose you can be seriously injured and if you win and injure someone else you can end up in trouble with the law, learn to fight for self defence but think about other ways to solve your problems.
