Whats the best way to clean straps on a baby swing?

My son had a fantastic accident in his Fisher Price Open-Top Take-Along Swing. I have the seat cover in the wash as I type but the one strap is still 'damaged goods'. What's my best bet on getting rid of it? Thanks!

  1. clean it with hot/wam soapy water and a cloth first  then use resolve or other similar stain remover.

  2. You may want to use a small scrub brush to help or just use a heavy wash cloth.

Try using Vinegar, liquid tide full strength, Ivory (bar) soap, carpet cleaner, Dawn (with bleach) liquid dish soap, liquid Mr. Clean.

These items work rathr well. The vinegar is what is the "Green" thing to do. I am not a person that only uses natural products.  I think it is great if it works otherwise I will use what works.

Thought I better put the "Green" in so I would be "Politically Correct".

  3. The straps on my child's swing come off and I just threw them in the washer.  If they don's detach just use hot water and soap and wash it with a rag.
