  1. Since you asked in Alternative Medicine, I would suggest two things: Tea Tree Oil and Pao D'Arco tea. It takes a while but it works great, even on toenail fungus.

Make a strong tea with the Pao D'Arco (buy at any health food store). Use 3 or 4 teabags per cup of water and simmer about 5 minutes, then steep until just warm, about 10 to 15 minutes. Soak your feet in this liquid until it feels cool or at least 10 minutes. Pat dry with paper towels. Save the liquid in the fridge for reuse. Do the soak 2x daily. After about 4 uses, discard and make a new batch of tea.

Dab the Tea Tree oil oil on the blisters before putting on shoes. Keep the feet as dry as possible - wear sandals. Around the house, go barefoot.

Another herb that works very well is Black Walnut hull. It is a brown powder and stains everything but it kills all fungus, including ringworm. Mix it with a fat like cocoa butter and rub into blisters. Wash hands with soap to prevent staining.

  2. Canesten certainly helps.  You apply the cream once a day but you have to keep doing it for at least a week or two.  Sometimes even longer.

  3. take notice of bandit, I just had it on the end of one toe  a couple of weeks back . I treat it with a fungle preperation.  it`s fine  now.

  4. Although I have never had "Athlete's foot" I did have a case of "Jungle Rot" when I returned from Viet-Nam. The doctors told me the best way to cure it was to go spend a few weeks at the beach. Barefoot, air, salt water. I think you need to let your feet "air out" and salt water foot soaks will kill the fungus. I prescribe 2 weeks at the beach now that summer is here.

  5. I never had "athletes foot" per say, but I cut my foot in a lake once, and it got infected. Here's what I did. Clear off any dead or rotting skin. You can use a pummus scrubbing pad or a knife to clear it all off. Get a big tub and fill it up with water as hot as you can bear. Mix in salt, rubbing alcohol, or any other natural disinfectant. Dip your foot it. Prepare for crazy pain, keep it in there till its all nice and numb. Then scrub it down again just to make sure. Dry off foot, and wear sandals everywhere. Keep foot clean.
