Whats the best way to electroplate something chrome into something gold?

i want to electroplate the back of my ipod, my ipod is chrome and i want it to be gold, i know there is many ways of electroplating but what would be the best way, and what gold can i use to do this? its not a problem taking the back plate off, and ive seen many people electroplate their ipods.

Anyone have any ideas or experience in this field?

And no i dont want to spray it!

Sensible suggestions only please?

A jeweler can do this. This can be expensive if you try to do it yourself. You have to remove the chrome (my guess) and setup an electroplating tank with the correct gold solution (which you will have to buy) and correct electrodes.
