You must try out craigslist.org  It is the best source for local services in your community.  You can get a job, buy unusual items at bargain basement cost, find love, friends and it's just endless!  Post a free ad and you don't even have to open an account.

Start putting yourself out there early. Check local city, county, state & federal websites for summer jobs if you think you might like civil service. Those temp, summer & apprentice type jobs open the door for a lot of government careers or can be taken as is for a good, fun training oppurtunity.

No matter what kind of job you seek, ask around & you might get a lucky break. There are sometimes openings coming up that people know about but that haven't yet been posted.
