  1. The absolute best way to find foreclosures in your area would be to go to the web site www.realtytrac.com.  All you have to do is type in zip codes.  The service is free for 7 days but after that it is approx $50 a month but you can cancel at any time.  I would also recommend looking at preforeclosures instead so you can avoid the bank mark-up that it places on a home to help cover the costs of legal foreclosure and repossession.  Hope this helps.

  3. Do not pay anyone anything. THe information is all at your county Recorder's Office. If you walk-in, they are very helpful.   You can get every single house in foreclosure.

It's not as good as it sounds.  You must pay cash at the foreclosure auction.  Cash.  No loans. And you pay in 24 hours so don't ask about doing any inspections. That's why no one ever shows up at these sales. /

  4. Go to your local bank and ask for a list they usually have a full list of the homes they need to get rid of. good luck!

  5. Check your local court house. Legally, they have to post govt. auctions and stuff like that, also contact your local Sheriff's office-civil process dept. for auctions being held in your area.
