The disk in question is a DVD. It doesn't have many deep scratches, just many small ones. It skips on several different DVD players.

  1. If you don't have any disc-cleaners at your house..

You can use simpler things around the house, I've learned.

If you have Turtle Wax, wipe your disc with it  going gently from the centre to the edges, and wait about ten seconds then take a tissue/something soft and wipe it clean and then it should play.

I have used this technique and it didn't do all that much for me, but it just prolong a scene instead of skipping it completely or skipping and playing it.

This was told to me by a friend of mine who works at a video game store so... good luck!

  2. Buy a Cd/Dvd repair kit. you can usually fix a cd easily with one. it probably will take out enough scratches in your dvd that it will work fine. Dvd's can still play fine if there are some scratches in it. it just depends on how deep they are, where they are, etc.

  3. pledge(furniture polish) will do the trick.

  4. if its scratched then u can buy a new 1 ! BUT ONLY IF ITS THE SAME CD !! O ND TIS TIME BE 100  CAREFUL !!
