Whats the best way to fundraise for relay for life (canadian cancer society)?

im taking part in the relay for life for the first time this year and havent fundraised for ages. whats the best way to get pledges? i dont want to force it on anyone, but even 5 bucks helps. its a relay from 7pm to 7am (overnight) where a team of 10 takes turns walking towards a cure. its to honor those who have fought through it and those that have lost their lives to the battle. i will be 24 weeks pregnant at the time. im really looking forward to it, but only have until june 6th to rally for donations. ive sent out an invitation to every single person on my facebook telling them to contact me if interested in donating and giving them all the info about the event, but i have mostly younger people who probably dont see the value in it. im taking part in it with my work so its not like i can go to the mall and set up a booth asking for donations or anything because it has to be a good image for my place of business and a team effort. Any tips are appreciated!!!

I just went to a relay event last weekend and the relay team was selling glow necklaces and bracelets for funderasing. They were selling them pretty good because most people was having one of these glow items. And from what I heard a lot of these events now raise funds by selling glow products, because it's dark and glow products are fun to play with. I asked the team where they got these products, they said they found it online from www.glowwithus.com. I'm definitely going to check it out later for my son's birthday. Good luck!
