I don't think there's really any secret unless you happen to know someone with influence at a casino. Cocktail waitresses are some of the most coveted positions at casinos since the tips are outrageous ($100k a year is not uncommon) which makes them very difficult jobs to get. Don't expect to be able to just walk in and get a job unless you're really something special.
