Whats the best way to get back into shape for cross country?

i wanna do cross country this year and i think I'm kind of out of shape, i have very little stamina then i used to, how can i get back into shape and get my stamina back?

  1. first you have to motivate yourself.put everything you have(i.e..your's time ;yours energy;etc.) to achive your goal.remember a rabbit and a tortoise race.now i will suggest you a few tips please adhere:

                          1: make a plan

                          2:do your physical exercice and try to do   yoga,pranayam,aerobics it will make you fit and slim

                  

    finally i want to suggest you one thing what ever may be your problem participation is better than being idle .
