  1. There are several buses and now there are trains. Yes, the buses have toilets but you have to book the "expensive" ones as you have several bus categories ranging from utter mess to nice safe ones. The most touristy route is going from Lima to either Cuzco or Puno (via air) and then take the trainride from Puno all the way to La Paz. Ig you have car sickness...I recommend you fly as the altitude is VERY high in both Puno and La Paz. The train ride (or bus) can make you even sicker unless you take some motion sickness pills. But to answer your question, yes, there are buses and trains and tourists take them all the time.

And no, Puno is not near Lima, it is like an hour and 10 minutes flight.

  2. go to lima, where the airport is, n that'll take u to the airport in la paz bolivia, that's where my dad goes all the time, even though he has to go to cochabamba, but anyways, isn't lima close to puno?  u cant take lloyd aero boliviano anymore cuz they don't exist anymore, but u can also take a bus n it'll prolly be like 24 hours, i don't reccomend it cuz i went on those busses once (flota) n i got sick, they barely make stops so fly is def the best option, especially 4 u.

    good luck!
