Whats the best way to get new cusomers for my POOL SERVICE COMPANY? Mail Them or Drop off Flyers at their door

Brand new company, Licensed and Bonded - Ready for some new customers.

I am going to pull a MASSIVE list from the title company of all the people in my city who have pools.

I'm wondering what to do with this list.

Should I just mail them some information @ $0.42 Cents a piece through the United States Postal Service?

OR

Should I just plan on spending a few full days driving around in my Honda Accord with a pal dropping off door flyers to those selected houses, using my GPS and maybe adding in a free goodie treat (Inflatable pool ball) along with my information.

  1. I would hit only those that have pools..with a flyer that shows I AM CHEAPER THAN WHO THEY HAVE...SCOPE out who they are using now, may take a little extra work..but now a days, $10.00 to $100.00 savings means a lot.

  3. Don't you think that perhaps Business & Finance > Advertising & Marketing would be a better category to ask in than Cars & Transportation > Commuting?

    Unless of course you drive your pool around.

  4. Door to door is more personal, if you send them something in the mail they'll probably not notice and just toss it thinking it's junk.
