  1. they have shampoo at stores meant especially for cradle cap.

get some of that and it will be gone within no time.

  2. Hi, my little one has just had cradle cap herself and she is also 4 months old. Although it is more common in babies a few weeks old, older babies can and do get it.

I was advised to try the following but it took three goes before it worked.

    * Rub a little olive oil into the baby's scalp before bed. Comb the hair with a fine-toothed comb in the morning.

    * When the scales have been removed, wash the baby's hair with a mild baby shampoo.

If the treatment does not work, or if the baby has eczema on the face or body, consult your doctor or a pharmacist for advice.

    I hope this helps.

  3. this happens alot with my nephew. using a baby brush and brushing the scalp during bath time will help remove the cradle cap. moisturizing it is a bad idea only for the reason that the cradle cap  will then rely on the moisturizer and dry out faster, thus not removing but creating more of a problem.

  4. My daughter had cradle cap in her ears and on her eyebrows and what worked wonders for us was using vasolene.  We would put it on at night, and in the morning rub it right off.  It cleared up within a week and there's no sign of it now, jsut a little dry skin.

  5. Just rub some baby oil on it every day, it will soften the cradle cap and it will just come off

    hope this helps :)

  6. My daughter's pediatrician had me rub a small amount of Head and Shoulders with a very soft toothbrush over the affected area. Cleaned it right up!!

  7. May Kay Extra emollient cream!

apply a thick layer and brush or comb with a soft brush!

Wash the babies hair everyday no matter what!

And rubbing the head stimulates the scalp preventing cradle cap!

  8. I just dealt with this! I put a generous amount of olive oil (I didnt have baby oil) on the babys head rubbed it in to the scalp.

I left it on for about 15-20 min then used a little baby brush and comb and ran them through his hair. He had a bad case and It only took 2 times of doing that and it was gone.  If it isnt a bad case then it will only take once.

    good luck
