Whats the best way to get rid of lots of weeds in a strawberry patch?

My mom said she would pay me a few dollars a week to weed them I did no pay so I said I wasnt gonna do it anymore,because she didnt keep up her end of the deal.But its driving me crazy!

You are creating your own problem.  Either go out and pull the weed or stop worrying about them.

okay i am growing tomatoes and i have that problem plus 1 more problem.  my other problem is that critters are eating my 2 pound tomatoes.  what i did about that is that up a fence around it and i rubbed the fence withn ammoniaa.  anyway what you should do about you're problem is pull the weeds then go to a hardware store and buy a chemical that wont hurt your strawberries but at the same time will kill the weeds. i'd suggest go to handyman hardware store.

is the problem the mother is not keeping up with the money or weeds? for the weeds pull them all up then us a mulch. newspaper, straw, leaves. for the mother problem talk to her very politely, no begging. remind her of the deal.

not many herbicides available for the general public.  from my expereance some times it is easier to mow it down and buy what ever strawberry's you may need.
