Whats the best way to get rid of roaches?!!!?

Ok. i know there are home remidies, but that takes too my effort and time. i need help on what are good products to use that kill roaches and their eggs. and where do they usually keep there eggs if anyone knows.?! please. any help is appriciated!..this has never happened to be before. we just moved into this appt. when we checked out the place it was fine, but a couple of weeks later. mr roach and his b*****s just started pimping my kitchen! HELP!
