  1. Depends on your TV and your computer.

The best was is if you have new HD TV, you probaby have an HDMI interface on your TV. If your computer has a DVI output, you can connect the DVI output to the TV HDMI input with an inexpensive DVI to HDMI cable.

Some "home theater" PCs or video cards have HDMI connectors built-in.

My brothers laptop has an s-video output. I have connected this s-video output to the TV video s-video input and I have connected the audio out to the TV and watched TV shows we downloaded from Amazon Unbox.

Some PCs have an RCA connector (typically yellow) and you can connect that to the RCA composite video connector on your TV.

Check the owner's manual for your PC and/or video card and your TV.

  2. i just bought a pc to tv converter for 30 bux from ebay..  it has a vga in and a composite out..   the picture is definitely not 1080p but still looks awesome

  3. S-video does not support HD transfer.  Your best bet would be to either buy a DVI to HDMI adapter.  Or simply buy a DVI to HDMI cable.  Either way will work just as well as the other.  However DVI only supports video transfer.  You will have to run some kind of audio cable.  The easiest way to this is to get a 3.5mm to stereo audio cable and hook the 3.5mm plug into the light green port on the back of your computer.  Then the stereo audio connectors will plug into the red and white jacks that correspond with your DVI/HDMI input.
