Whats the best way to improve my 100 yard butterfly time??

  1. what really helped me was work on dolphin kick.  just use flippers and do it on your back.    just really work out most of your muscles.  make sure your rythym is right.  and make sure you are not wasting anytime on your turns or turn depending if the pool is 25m or 50m.


  2. To improve your fly work on your technique and underwater dolphin kicks.  From a training aspect you should try repeat 25s of fly at 40 seconds holding your goal pace.  After each set of 4 x 25s do some easy swimming or drill fly.  When your body totally breaks down hang that part of your workout up and go to working on the technique.  Make sure you are totally warmed up before you do those 25s.
