Whats the best way to improve my run time?

im trying to run 2 miles as fast as possible, usually get about 15 minutes 30 seconds.

  1. The night before you go out and run that 2 miles for your best time, eat some pasta and bread, or anything that is a good source of carbohydrates for dinner. And a banana that night or even the morning of that day will help. Also get a good stretch that night and a proper warm up that day. You shouldn't be trying for a best time each time you run, you should have some kind of training plan. Run some longer runs, some speed workouts like sprints, and muscle workouts, like sprinting up some hills to build leg muscle, and ab workouts to align your pelvis and make you a stronger runner. Doing this will definitely get you a personal record and help you break that 15 minute mark. Good Luck!
