  1. You play volleyball? Cool! Basket ball? Raw jumping? Stretching? Running? Anything to make you legs stornger I guess...we run up to the net and jump when we practice spikes...

  3. If only there was a trick to it. . . I've been playing for 10 years and the only way to jump higher is to jump.  Good, solid reps will increase your jump.  Look up some plyometric excercises, and try playing/jumping in sand, too.  Good luck.

  5. Get a box and jump up on it it builds ur vertical jump and when u get one box easily move on to two boxes then three and so on

    also, my friend would hang a rope from her garage and take an approach and swing at it.  She raised it after a period of time. she can jump very very high, so test this out.

  11. ya all those will help greatly-but u can also set a basketball rim to ur goal (how high u wanna jump) and keep jumpin till u touch where u wanna...then raise it at ur own pace. hope it helpz! :)

    It's a technique that is done by holding small weights in each hand, such as 5 or 10 pounds, and stepping forward with one foot, while going down with the knee of the other leg, getting close to the ground, but not touching, and then back upright again.

    In accordance with this, weight lifting such as the leg press and such actually decreases your vertical jump.

  14. Doing a lot of plyometric exercises first will strengthen your lower body. Like frog hops, etc. Next, you can practice daily by setting a mark on the wall and jumping towards it. Once you pass that, set another. Make sure to not only use your legs, but arm motion to get the best results.
