Well, first, you can cut off its tongue to make cow tongue steak (lengua). And then you can cut off its tail to make cow tail stew in peanut sauce (kare-kare).

And then when it's already bleeding in agony, you point a .45 at its head and shoot it.

There are a lot of angry people out there. Don't they eat meat? Do they think the animals just fall down dead for us?

Once you've killed it it needs to bleed out so you need a way to hang it. Use a winch such as SUVs have for getting out of bogs. Hang it over a branch and lift the beast up.

Then you cut its throat. Removing the entrails is lots of fun (not) too. Where are you going to put them? Burying is my recommendation

It then needs to hang in refrigerator for a week of so.

It sounds like you might be best to take to a the abattoirs and pay some one to do it for you. Then you get it cut into your favorite steaks .

It is illegal to kill a cow yourself unless you are a trained slaughter-house worker. There are animal cruelty laws in most countries which mean you can't just kill an animal yourself, since without proper training and equipment you could cause unnecessary suffering to the animal. If you have a cow you want to kill, take it to a slaughter-house.

In slaughter-houses, cows are killed using a bolt gun - that is, a gun in which the killing agent is a rod of metal which shoots out of the gun into the cow's head, then retracts back into the gun. This renders the cow instantly braindead - it is very quick and the animal does not suffer. The cow's throat is then slit to allow the blood to drain.

(plus it's illegal to just slit their throats pea brain, under the inhumane act and finable)

P.P.s i just thought i add this bit for garrysyl who comented further down, the fact that he has to ask how to killl a cow (on here epsecially) means that he shouldn't be killing it and has no idea how to do it. under law you can't just "Kill a cow" there are rules, regulations, licences etc. that you have to go through to show you no how to do it corectly and humanely so the cow is put through as little suffering as possible. since this guy is obviously none of the above then he shouldn't be killing it and should try the local super market instead.

For kosher slaughter, the cow HAS to be killed by slitting its throat and with a single stroke. This was originally supposed to be the most humane means of slaughter. That was before the use of bullets. Nowadays, the cattle can be stunned before kosher killing, to make it more humane. The type of knife is less important than its sharpness (very) and size (fairly large).

If you don't know how to kill a cow, I'm guessing you aren't supposed to be killing it. If it's not yours, you need to leave it be. If it's yours to kill, I'd suggest shooting it. You need to shoot it right between the eyes. If you are at very close range, you can use a .22 rifle, but if you are further away, you'll need something bigger.

Don't slit it's throat. That is just going to turn into a disaster for all concerned....and, as I said, if it's not yours, don't kill it at all.

If you don't feel confident doing whatever you decide to do, ask someone who is experienced in killing cattle to help you. Don't risk half doing the job and letting the animal suffer.

It would be a tough job to do it this way you should use a stun or bolt gun first this makes your cow very still then you can cut the throat with a butchers throat cutting knife for cows ~~
