Whats the best way to kill flies?

They are hanging out on my back deck for some reason, and they come in when the kids open the door a million times a day. What should I spray on the deck? Would bleach water work? Thanks!

There is a fly bait called ''Golden Malrin'' available at hardware and feed stores.  It looks like little yellow grains.  Spread it on an old cloth that has been slightly dampened, then place the cloth somewhere where pets and children won't get into it.  It has an attractant that apparently mimics their s*x pheromones and is irresistible to them (the flies, not the pets and children!).

  Two  things  may  help.  Wash  deck  with amonia water.  They  scent  drips possible of  food  spilt.  Move  trash  cans  away  from  door.  Put amoniaia  in  bottom  of  can.Bleach only works  short  time. Also  if  a   way  hang  a  stick strip also  sold  in  insect  control  areas  and  feed  stores.   *mamatx

Fly tape works well but looks disgusting so keep it out of the way.

my nieghbor uses this and it works great, you have to put it away from the area they are coming / not by a door because it does attract them (so it does smell at first) but it works because the flies are drawn to that instead of by the door or deck. they buy it at bimart but i am sure you can find it somewhere else. here is the website so you know what you are looking for
