Whats the best way to make roast potatoes????

  1. Cut potatoes and sprinkle on Hidden vally Ranch dip (the dry powder mix) Spray with a little pam Olive oil spray and bake.

If you want to do them Quickly, scrub and wash potatoes and poke them with a knife ( as you will be boiling them in water in a microwave first) so poke them enough- After scrubbing them use a microwave container , add the potatoes and let them submerge in the water- Microwave on high for 8 minutes( If you have 3 large oblong ones) once they are done, cool and peel them, they will be 3/4 cooked- If you do not want to use the  MW then  boil them the  normal way till you can put a skewer thru

    Peel and cut to the  size you want.

    In a skillet add 2 tablespoons of olive or any oil U use for cooking and 1 tablespoon of butter- Add the potatoes in and sprinkle salt to taste and if you like this is the time to add some rosemary- keep this on a real low flame till they are nice and browned , as the flame will be very low they will not burn yo can cover them as they cook

    Is a bit lengthy but the end result is fantastic!

  3. Peel, slice into slices about 1/2" thick, and boil for about 10 minutes (just underdone)

    Drain, and then transfer to a bowl of ice water to stop the boiling process.

    Remove and let dry.

    Meanwhile, heat oven to about 475 F

    Coat potatoes with olive oil and place in baking pan in single layer (cover it first with foil to save a clean up hassle. Drizzle some oil on the pan as well, this will prevent sticking.

    Coat the layer of potatoes with powdered onion soup mix and bake for about 30 minutes.

    You will get potatoes that are crispy outside and soft and tasty inside.

    It's really easy, my family loves this recipe.

  4. make a brown sugar and basil "rub", bake potatoes about 3/4 done, then remove from oven, toss in olive oil, veg oil, or whatever you have available, then toss in brown sugar and basil, finish baking!  don't 4get salt and pepper.
