  1. Wrap them in clothing or towels to pad it. Also pack it in the center of your luggage and place clothing on all sides so its padded from each side. For small stuff put in Ziploc bags but still place in center of your luggage.

  2. Put them in double-freezer bags... or another plastic ziploc bag variety.

  3. When I travel, I usually put each liquid container into their own zip-locked bag (you'll find that you just keep these zip-locked bags in your luggage all the time). Then i usually secure the top with scotch tape. Insert the bottle into the zip-locked bag and roll the bag around the bottle to get excess air out. Then lock the bag and hope for the best!

I eagerly await other responses, maybe someone else has a better idea!

  4. I cut up plastic grocery bags into 3" squares (bigger if you have a bigger bottle), unscrew the tops of my shampoo and conditioner and toothpaste, center one of the squares over the opening, and put the lid back in place. Then, I put all of my liquid items into gallon-sized Ziplocs before putting them in my luggage.

    Haven't had a leak yet.

  5. One thing I have done to insure a liquid does not leak from it's bottle is to uncap the bottle and place a piece od saran wrap or glad cling wrap over the opening, then recap the bottle the wrap will act as a barier and prevent the leakage especially if it is a shampoo type bottle with a pop open lid.

  6. you can either wrap them in plastic wrap or put them in a ziploc baggy, then put them inside one of those flat type plastic storage containers, you can get the size you need at your local dollar store....cheap, easy and it works!

(the container is so they won't get squished or bust on all your things if someone puts pressure on the luggage)

  7. If the cap is not a s***w-on, I usually tape it shut. Then I put them in a ziplock bag or two.
