Whats the best way to put on eyeliner?

or whats the best kind? my eyeliner rubs off by the end of a school day and i have to constantly reapply. any tips?

well i use one wich is the smudge pots

from STILA, u can get it in a sephora store

it lasts u months....the good thing about it

its that u can also use it as eye shadow

i <3 it!!! it was like $23

But its great!

i bought it on May and i have lots left!!

well i put my eyeliner on the bottom of my eye lid.

but theres alot of other ways to put on your eyeliner, i just find it easier to put it on the bottom of my eye lid.

eyeliner is a tricky thing to put on

try using a liquid liner

it works best for me

I have this problem sometimes, but these tips help:

1.  Don't put on any cream around your eyes before applying, save this for bedtime.

2.  Put powder or white eyeshawdow around your eyes before applying.

3.  Once applied gently smudge with a q tip to remove excess.

4.  I know that it's hard but don't put it on thicke, this will help to keep it from smudging.

5.  Try putting it on your upper lashline only to prevent undereye smudging and darkening.

The best brands of eyeliner aren't always the most expensive, sometimes the cheapest are the best.  You will want to try water/smudge proof for your problem , just make sure you buy some waterproof eyemakeup remover as well b/c it is Never a good idea to scrub our gentle eye area.  

Liquid eyeliner is good if  you have a steady hand, alot of q tips to fix mistakes along the way, and patience.

Mine does the exact same thing! Try getting a permanent eyeliner. They come in regular stores like Wal-Mart and Walgreens. If that doesn't work try putting it right under the eyelid so if your eyes water during the day it won't wear off.

i'm assuming you use a typical stick liner

i assure you

if you use a gel or liquid liner

you won't have these problems

and it won't budge for at least 6 hrs

but it'll stay on for at least 9

you can get liquid eyeliner with a latex base. It will be water proof and it has to wear itself off, also you can get it in mascara. But, if you s***w up while you are putting it on.... it takes forever to get off!

The absolute best eyeliner I have found is Almay eyeliner. The kind I get is the one you roll up.

To apply it to the top of your eyelid: blink, and pull the outer corner of your eye out towards your ear. Then, take the eyeliner and softly glide over the base of your eyelashes. You don't want to aim for the eyelid because it comes out too thick.

To apply it to the bottom of your eyelid: Look up, and pull your lower lid down towards your jaw. Then, start at the middle of your eyelid and glide on that line where there is no lashes. You want to aim a little low. So, try not to get too close to your eyeball.

that's how i do mine.

the BESTEST way is to use an urban decay stick liner on the bottom, a little bit of base shadow, and avon liquid on top.

Stays on and doesnt smudge. yay! =)
