  1. I saw those cleaning women on tv use of all things ammonia!the thing is most poeple use too much ammonia.you need a capfulper gallon and believe it or not that takes the stench out.I'd mop with a solution of that, then seal it with a hardwood floor glosser.they make pour spread and let dry formulas and you will think you have new floors.

  2. If you find something that will get the smell out then great, but exposing  your hardwood floors to chemicals each time your dog pee isn't good either. Why don't you place some vinyl tiles down so that your pet won't damage the wood. If you are renting, the landlord may sue you for damages. Think about it!

  3. This is a common problem. Neutralize the odor by alternating baking soda and vinegar. I always

follow cleaning up a pet mess by sprinkling the area with baking soda,

leaving that overnight, and then sweeping or vacuuming it up.

or make a quick stop at your local superarket and pick up some nilodore. Put a couple of drops in that and mop up the dog pee and the dog will not want to do it in the same place. I usually mop the whole house with it and now my dog has a way of telling my that it wants to go out. i havent had my dog pee in the house for over a year now.

    hope this helped

  4. spray lime juice on the spot

  5. I think you could get a natural pee remover from the pet store- that would work for sure- and wwhy the heckk did your dog do that- maybe you should take it for walks more often so it can  do its business OUTSIDE.

    Good luck. :)

  6. wood retains smells especially in the heat when it expands.  I have all hard wood floors in my house and a min pin, who sometimes has accidents.  The best thing I've ever used is hot hot water and vinegar.  I know it sounds too good to actually work, but believe me, vinegar cuts smells out of anything and the hot water will open up the wood so the vinegar can do it's thing.  If you must have a smelly good when you mop, try a cap full of pin-sol as it disinfects.  Hope this helps you, if works great on my floors.

EDIT:  Please do not put straight lime juice on your wood floors.  The acidity in the juice will eat away the sealer or varnish!  If you use lime, it may be sticky, and also please dilute it first!!

  7. Spray Lime juice on the spots where the pee is let its soak for about 10 minutes then wipe up what ever is still there and the stain will be gone and also your house will smell limey fresh.

    WARNING:

IF YOU ARE ALLIIRGIC TO LIMES DO NOT DO THIS!!!
