Question:

Whats the best way to store your snooker cue in a hard case? Some sites say upright but i also read flat!?

i would have thought laying flat in its case would have been best but now im not sure, cheers.

  1. it doesnt matter which way up...just make sure the cue is compact in the case and doesnt move about.


  2. As long as the hard case supports the cue along the entire length, any way will do.

  3. bearing in mind the case is designed to protect it, i dont think it matters which way. Go with what ever way it fits into where ever you keep it when not in use

  4. i think upright and not by the radiater because that can bend it =D

  5. If its in a hard case,and held reasonably tight by the padding,it doesn't matter much. I keep mine upright.Had it twenty-three years.

    The most important thing is to keep it away from heat sources and humidity.

    I keep mine next to chimney breast. The temperature tends to change slowly there because of the way gas fires heat the room.

    The cue before this was kept layed under my bed.It bent after about two years.

    Never leave it in a car.
