Whats the best way to take money away with you on holiday!?

Im goin to malia in Greece, an di was wondering what the best way to take money away with you would be?

Iv eheard about travellers cheques but im nto sure how to use them.?!

I dont wont to just take lots of cash wit me in case i loose it or anythin!

can anyone help please

  1. A credit card would be the best along with some Euros


  2. You could just use a debit card in an ATM when you are there............depends on availability of them but most places got some wherever you are.

  3. You buy traveller's cheques here. You can cash them in for money at bureaux de change and banks in your destination country. If they are nicked, they cannot be used - only you can use them. They are the recommended way of carrying large amounts of money.

  4. I use a money belt. I have a belt with a hidden zipper compartment that holds folded money. I also have another kind that is a little pouch that attaches to my calf via velcro.

  5. you can spend travellers cheques in some shops, normally larger stores, or you can cash them in a bank in exchange for cash, you just need some ID, passport or driving licence will do.  they are safest as they can be replaced within 48 hours.
