I've tried most searches on line to no avail and hoping someone has been in the same situation with a successful outcome.

  1. try a search at www.google.ie and choose the option for pages from Ireland.  Put your friends' names in the search, and if they have been mentioned in local newspapers for any reason, you may strike lucky.  Or if you know the town where  they live, or name of the company they work for, or any useful information like that, you could start your search there.  If they live in a small town, the local parish priest, or the post office, even the local garda station, may be able to help.  You could try the phone directory

    or the voting register

Just some ideas  .....   good luck !!

  2. Go to a pub you'll meet any1 there

  3. With a pencil and a really big sheet of tracing paper.

  4. If you can then go to local parish, school, football club, chapel, pub & ask ....

Otherwise ring parochial house, local shop, pub etc...

Usually someone will know someone especially in rural Ireland

    Good Luck :)

  5. If you know where they're from and have their full names, try the telephone book: www.goldenpages.ie . You might get relatives who will then be able to help you out.

  6. It's very difficult, this question was asked a while back and i'm not sure if it was resolved, have you tried 192 if not it might be helpful, the only other thing i can think of is to try these sites.
