I will be visiting Peru, Northern Argentina, possibly Buenos Aires and heading up to Brazil. I have about ten days, are there Bus routes that go country to country? About how much am I looking at in bus fare? Any advice?

  1. Bus fares are in-expensive, but distances and not well kept routes, makes it colourful, but LONG! And some-time tiring!

You can do an American Airlines/Lan trip (Lan Chile/Lan Argentina/Lan Peru) to fly from (let's say) DFW to LIM/Lima, then SCL/Santiago Chile, EZE/Buenos Aires and then GRU/Sao Paulo, with return from there to DFW.

Flight in Argentina and Peru are expensive by North-American standards.

Plus you accumulate miles (lots) in at the AAdvantage frequent flyer programme.
