  1. Write to the head office.

In my experience, both as a consumer and an employee, people get far further if they write directly to the top- or even just threaten to.

Many many times I've seen letters arrive at my work, full of complaints, and they're just ignored.

Make sure your letter is accurate, stating that the advertisment didn't match the place's description, and avoid making sweeping claims, like saying you'll never use them again... even if that's true. You'll just seem angry and unresponsive.

Tell them that, in the past, you've experienced good quality from Haven, but this time you've been highly disappointed. It's always good to say you're a returning customer, and that you believe this is a one off blip in their system.

    Good luck!

  2. if you didnt complain at the time and depending on the type of compaint you may not get much joy. try havens head office.

i complained years ago about a site at the time but only ended up with discount off another holiday but the best of luck.

  3. Complain to the company that you bought the holiday from. Say it wasn't as described. Threaten to tell watchdog, abta etc if you dont get anywhere fast! Good luck!
