Whats the best way to using the internet anonymously?

ok, here's the deal. i would like to surf the net without anyone knowing what i'm viewing, my IP or anything else that can identify me or where i am. i would also like to download things off the internet via torrents and file hosting sites, (such as megaupload) without anyone knowing what i am downloading, INCLUDING my isp (internet service provider). are there any suggestions? i would like what im entitled to... my privacy...

AntiVirus software such as McAfee can allow you to completely hide your computer's identity on the web.

There is no privacy online. Even if you use a proxy, your ISP will still have access to every step you take and they *will* turn the info in if requested.

Better off just staying legal.

Edit / Note to "Aftermat..."  Install any security program that you like, then go to http://whatismyipaddress.com/

If you can still get your own IP, then so can anyone else ;-)
