Wash them? Huh? Never heard of it...it is one of those unspoken laws of cricker - never wash your gloves!!

If you wash them, it may make them stiff and uncomfortable.

i would put them in the washing machine, but they dont need to be washed urgently

M not sure of this but dry them after use always to get the sweat away and hand wash them????? ain't sure mate sorry

Batting or wicket keeping?

For batting, hand wash in a washing up bowl of hand-hot, not too, soapy water and hang up to drip dry.

Adding a bit of detergent to the water stops any.. erm.. odours.
