Whats the best way to workout for boxing?

I may start in Highschool which is in a year and I wanted to get into the best shape for boxing

  1. Calisthenics; that is the traditional method for build up strength quickly for boxing.  Tyson I heard, could do 200 pushups in a row in his prime, and he was a surprissingly fleet footed runner; I also heard he could run the 100 meter dash in 10 seconds.

    Scary for a guy his size ain't it?


  2. Simply, stick to a boxing gym and go to library or bookstore look for boxing training.

  4. hey first off if you wanna do boxing stay alway from weights bc weights lifting makes you stiff and its will not help with your body movements bc boxing is not just with the arms you have to learn how to punch use your your legs and you have to stay lose so your jabs will be snapy if i were you i would shadwo box in the mirror and run 4 miles bc doxing has to do with alot of running btw best way to run is wear a moth pice that way u get use on having your body breathing from your nose

  5. ok do 20+ push ups every morning..im serious every morning and ull get pumped...and after lunch lift about 20-25 lb for 10 minutes on each arm,and do sit ups to gain ur body and abs,i recomend 100 sit ups...im in middle school and i take boxing lessons and go to tournaments..im currently undefeated :) so i should know,and run a mile or two every morning for ur stamina,good luck
