Tampa Bay, They have always been at the bottom of the AL east. Now look at them! At the top now! Never thought that would happen. Also the Red Sox and Yankees 3  and 6 1/2 games behind them?? Wow!  I'm a die hard Red Sox fan, but I've got to give credit to the Rays because they use to be a joke. Also you should've added Lester's no hitter. That was unbelievable!

Tampa Rays, I saw the game today against Cleveland. I figured that the Rays would choke in the second half of the season but now I know better, they are in it until the end. I have new found respect for the RAYS

The Rays being a contender in the AL East. They were suppose to be good, but not this good.  I hope the win the east and Minnesota takes the wild card.  s***w the Red Sox and Yankees!!

the biggest surprise is deffinately the san diego padres they were great last year and they are probably the most talented team in the majors with young guys like adrian gonzales who will get the mvp award most likely than not chase headly edgar gonzales the walkoff wonder scott hairston jody gerut kevin kouzzmanoff tat is a talented group of young hitters and good overall players the pitching staff who shutdown oppning teams last season both starters as the bullpen they head the lowest era they had the cy young winner jake peavy and the best three starters since the atlanta braves had maddux smolts and glavine although they are not out of the race because the nl west is a mess this year unlike the greatest division it was last year but it will come down to the wire and they might still win the division altough its more likely they will be taking away playoff hopes for other teams they will be plkaying the role of spoilers
