i got a 2001 ,basically the same truck you got with a 2 in lift with 33, s on it with no problems,it rides and drives really good with them on it,good luck.

You will be able to fit 33 x 12.50 x 16  tires with a 4.0 back spaced wheel.  the tire should not rub on full turn lock.  Use steel wheels as they are cheaper, stronger, and easier to repair.

Your best bet is to get the lift, and then take your truck to a tire dealer, and tell them to squeeze in the biggest tire they can. That is the only way to find out!

Since it's a gas engine 305 or 33 would be the best> much more and your MPG would drop low>
