Looking for a cheap LCD TV as our old type just went bang. We dont have much money but obviously would like one for the kids and one that will be usable for a good few years so HD Ready is a must I would think. I have looked at one of the only flat screen CRT 28" models I can find which is a goodmans at £99 New delivered but obviously this is the old type and not hd ready etc. I am looking up to £250-£300 maybe.

I admit I know bugger all about TV's so am willing to liten to any advice!

  4. We just bought a cheap widescreen 40" TV from an ebay company called Willen Trading, its not a known brand and is reconditioned but it works fine and was a really good deal. It might be worth looking for them or a similar company on-line.
